Finally after many years I have been able to build a Diamond Pattern Pantograph that I am truly happy with. For a long time I hade used the good old Lego pantograph www.bricklink.comcatalogItem.asp?P=2881 on my fleet of Electric Locomotives as there was no better substitute to my liking. The unfortunate thing is with the official Lego Pantograph is it is rather under scaled, also it's only available in Single Arm format which is fine for modern locomotives but not for vintage locos that predominantly used the Diamond Pattern style.
