My friend John on facebook, not wanting to be a joiner was going on about how he wasn't going to answer any questions or change his id photo. So I decided to ask boxers or briefs which led down this whole path to a few of us coming to a consensus of silky boxers with a leopard and heart print. Here is a desktop pattern to commemorate it, just tile it for the full kitsch effect.

I got a lot of old and hand drawn patterns of scrolls, rosepaintings and old Norwegian art style today, which have been used for making wallets and stuff in leather.. and I can defenetly use them again in motorcycle art... Several of them will also be perfect as pinstriping and goldleaf work.. :-)

I grew up in the 60's/70's. Being a nostalgic and sentimental person, I like to incorporate 60's & 70's style elements into my designs. Groovy Butterflies is my favorite retro pattern so far. I love the classic avocado green and orange color combination, as well as the hot pink and orange color combination!
pattern by Jenny Gordy of Wiksten-Made. found in Stitch magazine (holiday issue 2008) love it!
also, i was inspired by Jenny who was inspired by another seamstress (who was probably inspired by someone else) to make this in a printed fabric. i was so eager to get this made that i finished it up in one evening.
p.s. i also copied Jenny by wearing a v-neck knit top. but i also see it paired with some other tops i have (including another printed blouse i made...) oh so many possibilities. now i want to make another.

Leftover on our lanai screen from yesterday's storm that blew out power for about 30,000 households in Tallahassee. Our power was restored six hours later. This might also be the beginning of mildew or similar growth taking hold in a crowded field of what resembles bacterial colonies.
