Utah Badlands Patterns - Drone View of the colorful patterns seen at the Bentonite Hills in the southern Utah Badlands.
The Bentonite Hills appear as softly contoured, banded hills in varying hues of brown, red, purple, gray, and green.
The hills are composed of the Brushy Basin shale member of the Morrison Formation. This layer was formed during Jurassic times when mud, silt, fine sand, and volcanic ash were deposited in swamps and lakes.

I had some leftover scraps from an illustration that didn't work out, so I made a pattern from it. You can download it free, and do what you like with it. I'm not asking for credit if you use it, but I would like to see what you use it for out of curiosity. I didn't take the time to set it up as repeating.

A rare rainfall turns the giant dunes of the Namib Desert wet, forming patterns across the dune's massive face, Namib-Naukluft National Park, Namibia.
Working on a Sheath dress pattern that can be made from non-stretchy material I HATE sewing stretchy stuff, not to mention you can find the best tiny prints in calico cottons. Its looking pretty good... you can give it a try if you'd like. The pattern is on Shannanigan's Doll Modding (mis)Adventures
P.S. This Frankie was my first attempt at removing a head. Obviously it did not go well... so now she is my mannequin!
Nothing too interesting...just the patterns of a crystal lampshade in the evening light. Have a great Wednesday.
