It took a little bit of working out how to do the kick pleat hem, but really pleased with it, in the end!

Pattern magic transforming dress in wool jersey

Shawl collar jacket sewing pattern. available on my shop here goo.gl/2bZFIW

I meant to make these into a collage, but I didn't really have the time, so they each get their own page. It just shows a step-by-step change of variables and how the results slowly differ. I love changing something and seeing what will happen next.

A trip to Craignethan Castle, Lanarkshire. The last great castle of the middle ages in Scotland.

Built in the 1530s by James Hamilton of Finnart, Bastard of Arran, Steward of the Royal Household and Master of Works to King James V of Scotland. He had travelled in Italy, and it shows.

Pattern Is Movement opened for St. Vincent. Watching them is like watching Wagner if Wagner also rocked.

These drawings were done on fabriano dotted grid paper. I used to dots to help form the shapes without the use of a ruler or other tools

More tests of the Panasonic Lumix G7. I officially like this camera.

In the elevator....Going up.

Found this pattern outside a leisure centre near me. Original print is lovely, but it hasn't scanned so well.

As promised months ago, here is my pattern for a miniature knitted pencil dress, designed for both Petite Blythe dolls, Dollcenas and Little Pullips.

The pink mini pencil dress, worn by the Little Pullip doll required less than 2 grams of yarn.

My free pattern is available on the blog: makedoandmendnovice.blogspot.com/2018/04/knitted-pencil-m...
