step 9: shape the body pattern
going back to that starter picture, you see that crabs have points on their shell out over their claw arms - your body pattern will need that same shape. draw it several times with a marker until you feel you've gotten the contour you want, then cut it out.

It was a sketch that I did 11 years ago, now it has a new digital life. The title alludes to how it was made, with crossing lines. Of course when lines converge a shape is made and a space is shared, the result is hopefully harmony.

I'm looking for a free online pattern for Blythe sized shorts. I have very limited/beginner sewing skills :P
The photos are for examples. The ones on the left are Barbie that I got at a yard sale & the ones on the right are STA stock shorts. I love both pair, but the ones on the left are more likely doable for my skill set.
