Done in my sketchbook, using Brusho and tea for the colours and pens for the rest, interesting experiment as the tea was applied after I dipped my brush into it by accident !
Created while in transit on a Friday afternoon (no, I wasn't driving - use of Pattern Artist while driving is not recommended...)
Pattern study for Salina Art Center. The final piece will be a large-scale painting in the Oakdale Park pool to coincide with the Smoky Hill River Festival in June 2012.

Pretty woven pattern in this sweater I wore today. In New England, you can't just wear a sweater though. I wore a long sleeve shirt under this sweater, a warm scarf, gloves, a thick coat, jeans, leg warmers, three pairs of socks and snow boots! ❄️ Gotta gear up in the wintertime!
