I didn't iron the details because I'm not sure if I'm satisfeid!
If you want to see, I posted 4 pictures before this one, with some differences in the front trees, in the VW Van, and is some windows.
Is there one of them that you liked more, dear partner?
I will be so glad to hear your opinion!
Now I'm thinking on the quilting!!!! I have no idea how to quilt it!!! :))))
I always love working with patterns and texture in nature and this fern gave me a great opportunity to do so. The light was soft because it had just rained and it was a fantastic moment to capture some fine details. I didn't hesitate.
Odd that I was up two nights running to first photograph this and then post it!!
Here I go being literal again:

in the narrow, winding streets of palma de mallorca's old town, i captured this fleeting moment of a figure walking through the dance of light and shadow. the sharp contrast between the sunlight and the shadow creates an almost abstract composition, with the striped pants adding a rhythmic element to the scene. the anonymity of the subject and the focus on the lower half of the body invite viewers to imagine their own stories about this urban wanderer. the old town's historic ambiance enhances the timeless quality of the photograph, making it a poetic tribute to everyday moments often overlooked.
Salt pan patterns in Salinas, Peru, way high up in the Andes. The salt cultivation predates even Inca times and are still used today.
Teeth (from a comb) and tweezers on a trivet.
Amazing how much dust you see up close. That comb has never been used (though it has been in a bathroom cabinet for ages)!
Shot for Macro Mondays theme, "Pattern."
Abstract on a textured pattern.
No story here. I went to the get my eyeglasses fixed before my impending trip and poked around a recently completed complex of sports fields to which I had previously never visited.
The top of a large mushroom, with the color inverted, made into a brush in GIMP, and patterned a lot, with various adjustments to color and scale.
Oops, I thought this was Sunday!
As part of our spring clean, we've cleared out some of our old student-y mismatched plates and are making better use of some of my vintage treasures!
I adore the pattern on these lovely large dinner plates, bought in a charity shop years ago along with saucers, bowls and a teapot to match.
Fo any interested crockery geeks: these plates are stamped "Doverstone, Staffordshire, England" & the pattern is called "Canadiana".

Applied Julia transform.
Very small amount of post processing in Photoshop (interpolating to black in the middle and hue/saturation change).
Sorry about the 2 logo's, but since the image is symmetric I needed to protect it from both sides since otherwise it can be
reconstructed with ease.

It's so interesting what nature can do....I've never seen this kind of pattern made out of ice.
Mt. Seymour, North Vancouver.
I've bought the book "Die Form der Farben" after Marius posts some pics. I've starting with some simple pattern sketches.
