this is nice cotton gauze-y fabric, prone to wrinkle (in the best way). i added the pockets with gathers & chose mismatched white buttons. each with four holes. yellow thread makes x's holding them on.

 

i like this one.

(chances are i'm wearing it right now.)

I love subjects with a rhythm or flow to them. This is just a small collection of patterns I have discovered along the way.

Okay, another snow shadow image. It's not so much the shadow that I like in this photo, but the patterns in the snow from it being wind swept. Those patterns show movement in an otherwise still photo, or at least I think so.

Close up on an old cyclone chainlink fence that with rust on it in the morning light.

As I crossed the wooden bridge over the Pigeon River, I noticed the patterns on this post and couldn't resist taking a photo. Patterns and textures are interesting, especially those found in wood. I also liked the way that the light was striking the post at the time.
