I spotted this covered walkway in Columbus Ohio while in town for the Saturday Buckeye game. Thought it was a neat pattern of curved glass panels.
Mesmerising colouration of the feather pattern of the female Double-banded Sandgrouse. These birds often cover considerable distances daily to reach water where, at certain favoured pools, they gather in great flocks, morning or evening. To satisfy the thirst of newly hatched chicks, male sandgrouse bring water back to the nest by carrying it in their feathers.
Taking advantage of some of the improved framing capabilities of Pattern Artist version 3.2. The frame is created from a modified version of the "Between The Holes" pattern, posted a while back.
These made it to Interweave Crochet Magazine Summer 2009 issue. The cupcakes were included in an article on crocheted food :)

Pattern is an interesting subject to photograph but is harder to relay only on items found in the home. This kind of weather is preventing me to go out in places that would be more interesting to shot. Then, I started to dig in my house for a decent pattern of objects. I don’t have too many things of one kind.
One idea came in my mind that I have somewhere a bag full of buttons. I aligned them on the table creating this pattern. The buttons represent the wood replica and they have quite pretty colors. Natural light was used, f/5.3 and ISO 100.

The CP for my fancy goldfish, now drawn with ORIPA rather than MS Paint. If you fold it, send me a link to your results! Also, if you know of another model that uses the same general base, let me know. I feel like I can't be the first to use it. :P
The hoops are perfect for something like this... you can stretch and stretch until the full pattern comes to life... then I simply trimmed the excess and put a bead of glue around the entire hoop to secure the doily.
