Colwood Esquimalt Lagoon Proposed Pathway 3-mimute video
Colwood’s plans for an accessible, multi-use pathway along four kilometres of the city’s waterfront took a leap forward Monday after the federal government announced $6 million in funding for the project.
After reviewing my photos from June 23, 2021, I get a feeling of deja vu. That was when I read the same hyperbole and rode my bike on a 46km loop out there and back and took pictures and put my drone up.
As an avid hiker and cyclist we sincerely hope the project comes to fruition but we're not holding our breath — it you get my meanin' LOL
The Hell Gate Pathway is a pedestrian and bike path that runs through the monumental arcade, connecting to the larger waterfront pathway system that circles the Island. The northern end of the Pathway leads across the Bronx Kill by crossing to the South Bronx Greenway and onward to the larger Bronx Borough Greenway.

Way back during Christmas break we were lucky enough to get some snow. I took a walk through the park at Grand Caverns as I usually do when it snows. Whenever it snows this park looks like a scene out of Narnia.
