Surprised to see the leaves are changing colour. It is the middle of July and this change normally happens in September. A sign of the high temperatures we have had in June and July.

Nothing beats summer in the North!
Best thing about traveling to Northern Norway, Sweden or Finland during summer months is the endless light. Why hike during daytime when everyone's out? Instead, I prefer head out after 9pm, enjoy golden light and quiet paths.
This picture was taken along beautiful Litlverivassforsen trail in mid-July 2024. Almost 15km of solutiude, with only few fellow hikers. And best of it all? We got to enjoy beautiful waterfall all by ourselves.
It is my mother-in-law's custom to harvest mussels from her beach, cook them, and then throw the shells onto the path that leads down to the beach from the house.
A look at Kohler-Andrae State Park from its signature sand dunes. The park sits along the shoreline of Lake Michigan near Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

As evening falls, a Buddhist monk ascends the steps of Wat Saket in Bangkok, Thailand. Sorry to mix Robert Plant and Paul McCartney lyrics but it would seem that, at least on this day, the Stairway to Heaven was The Long and Winding Road :) And we won't even talk about Nirvana :) Thanks for viewing!
