A period house in the Spitalfields area of London that's regularly used as a film set for historical dramas. I've shot this previously long ago but stumbled across it on this occasion without any cars to impede the POV - definitely worth a retake IMO.
The smallest bird in the region, with its colourful crown stripe, always on the move, and difficult to locate at first, best found during winter months and nearly always favours conifers, have not had much luck in the past photographing them, so quite pleased with these.

Not far from Paris ON and a bit outside of Brantford ON, there is this abandoned place. It looks like it was nice place at one time. I always wonder about abandoned places.

CSX D79522 passes the farm inside the horseshoe curve just west of Fairfield on CSX's Hanover Sub. The train is climbing a steep uphill grade that often brings trains to its knees, but today they have enough power to take the hill at track speed.

This is the tiny mountain village of Latsch in Grisons / Switzerland. If it looks vaguely familiar to you although you‘ve never visited the place maybe you‘ve watched one of the three Heidi films that were shot here (according to Wikipedia). Apparently the village hasn‘t changed much over the centuries and its structure and main buildings have remained the same since the 15th century.
As my feet walk me forward with purpose, I glance back at what I was, and whom I had been. There is no shame or regret, just the knowledge that I was. The new light beacons me forward, and I smile.

Distressed, neglected and abandoned ,this decaying building still has some photographic appeal. The crumbling brickwork, the peeling paint and fading colour contrasts full of chararacter in my eyes. This is a first floor door and window and small platform,I can only assume it was a warehouse in some past life.
