Stumbled across this nice little, hidden away Waterfall whilst looking for Bluebells just off Snake Pass in the Peak District, a river cross, some barbed wire fences and a climb to get to it.
Driving pass roads is my favorite! Bernina Pass in Switzerland is one of my absolute favorites in the Alps. View into the Val di Poschiavo.
We were lucky and this time the Swartberg Pass was open for some days after floods of rain and repair work.
The Swartberg Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1,583 meters above sea level, located in the Western Cape province of South Africa. The pass is traversed by the R328 road. Climbing 1.000 metres in 12 kilometres, it's one of the steepest passes in the country.The road is gravel and sand but you don’t need a big 4x4 car to climb the pass.
The road encompasses miles of stunning views through twisty hair pin corners, high elevations and steep grades. Along with striking warped and twisted rock formations and interesting plant life, you will see some amazing drystone work supporting the picturesque hairpin bends. There are relics of an old prison, toll hut and other interesting historical sites too. Running between Prince Albert in the north and Oudtshoorn in the south, the route offers spectacular views over the Little and Great Karoo.

Of course the results are identical to those on Fomatone.
While we only chased to Seward once on our trip, Moose Pass is by far one of the neatest/ easily accessible places on the railroad. Scooting across Trail Lake and wedge between mountains the classic EMD's and matching passenger consist look killer.
Some fellow hikers on the Hidden Lake trail. Looking SE at the Logan Pass Visitor Center and a section of the Going to the Sun Road. Best get here early as parking is limited.
Two awesome trails take off from here. This trail to Bearhat Mountain and Hidden Lake and the Highline Trail which runs along the Continental Divide and the Garden Wall. These folks are looking in that direction. Good chance their looking at mountain goats which are common here.

Pen-y-pass is a mountain pass in Snowdonia, Gwynedd, north-west Wales.
It is a popular location from which to walk up Snowdon, as three of the popular routes can be started here. Glyder Fawr, to the north, is also accessible from here.

The Hahnenmoss Pass (German: Hahnenmoospass) is a high mountain pass in Switzerland, connecting Lenk im Simmental to Adelboden in the Bernese Oberland. With an elevation of 1,950 metres above sea level, the Hahnenmoos Pass is the lowest pass between the upper Simmental (west) and the Engstligental (east). Although a road leads to the pass from Adelboden, the pass can not be traversed by car. In winter the pass is part of a ski area.
For those that have driven the 107 that passes through the Srilanna national park alongside the river Ping between Chiang Dao and Chiang Mai, they will be well aware that it is almost impossible to pull over, the road being quite narrow and almost every driver with the pedal to the metal for some odd reason. Why this is so I will never know, it is easily one of the loveliest roads in the Chiang Mai province to travel along just after dawn, especially at this time of year with the mist regularly becoming trapped for several hours before the sun eventually passes over the trees.
