Dans le XIIIe arrondissement de Paris vous pourrez profiter d’une galerie à ciel ouvert de street art lancée par l’association SPOT 13, avec ses fresques géantes ou ses graffs engagés sur des terrains vagues et des espaces en friches à deux pas du périphérique, là où tout un quartier n’en finit pas de sortir de terre.
Surréalisme : homme en cage et corbeaux en haut d’un escalier qui mène au boulevard du général d’Armée Jean Simon, compagnon de la Libération.
Parvati, artiste franco-indienne, est née en Guyane Française en 1986.
Ses personnages hybrides, mi-humains mi-oiseaux, ouvrent une porte vers un onirisme poétique qui interroge la relation entre le bizarre et le beau autant que notre propre animalité. A l’origine métaphore des migrants, ces êtres sont devenus le peuple imaginaire de Parvati. L’omniprésence végétale également typique de son travail est un écho de la forêt qui l'a vue naître, l’Amazonie.
En constante recherche technique, Parvati s'inspire des grands maîtres de la Renaissance : elle travaille le clair-obscur et le sfumato au pinceau, tout en maniant la bombe et le pochoir dans ses fonds pour y faire apparaître des motifs inspirés de l'artisanat traditionnel d'Inde du Sud.
Dans la rue, c'est généralement par le collage qu'elle joue avec l'espace public, prenant soin de ne coller que des peintures originales. Ses oiseaux anthropomorphes, souvent à échelle humaine, interpellent le passant, l'interroge sur sa réalité quotidienne.

On dit que ce manguier a 3500 ans d'âge.
Selon la légende, alors que le dieu Shiva était en méditation, son épouse Parvati lui couvrit par malice ses yeux avec ses doigts. Ceci entraîna une obscurité complète sur terre pendant plusieurs années.
Shiva, irrité par cet acte espiègle, envoya Parvati en pénitence sur terre, pour qu'elle réalise la gravité d'un tel acte.
Sur terre, la déesse créa un lingam et se prosterna devant lui à coté d'un manguier à Kanchipuram, ceci donna naissance au temple Ekambaranathar.

As per the legend, once while God Shiva was meditating , his wife Parvati playfully covered his eyes with her fingers which resulted in complete darkness on the earth for several years.
Shiva who was angered by her mischievous act cursed Parvati to penance in the earth, so that she would realize the seriousness of such act.
Goddess Parvati created the earth linga and worshiped it beneath a mango tree in Kanchipuram which gave birth to Ekambaranathar temple

The land of Varanasi (Kashi) has been the ultimate pilgrimage spot for Hindus for ages. Hindus believe that one who is graced to die on the land of Varanasi would attain salvation and freedom from the cycle of birth and re-birth. Abode of Lord Shiva and Parvati, the origins of Varanasi are yet unknown. Ganges in Varanasi is believed to have the power to wash away the sins of mortals.
Ganges is said to have its origins in the tresses of Lord Shiva and in Varanasi, it expands to the mighty river that we know of. The city is a center of learning and civilization for over 3000 years. With Sarnath, the place where Buddha preached his first sermon after enlightenment, just 10 km away, Varanasi has been a symbol of Hindu renaissance. Knowledge, philosophy, culture, devotion to Gods, Indian arts and crafts have all flourished here for centuries.

Shiva (Sanskrit, शिव,Tamil,சிவன், m., Śiva, wörtl.: „Der Gütige“, [ɕɪvʌ]) ist eine der wichtigsten Formen des Göttlichen im Hinduismus. Im Shivaismus gilt er den Gläubigen als die wichtigste Manifestation des Höchsten. Häufige Beinamen sind Shankar, Mahadeva (Sanskrit: „Großer Gott“) und Natraj (Hindi: „König der Tänzer“). In den Veden erscheint der Name „Shiva“ noch nicht, möglicherweise ist aber der vedische Gott Rudra der spätere Shiva.

Parvati (Sanskrit: Pārvatī, पार्वती), sometimes spelled Parvathi or Parvathy, is a Hindu goddess. Parvati is also regarded as a representation of Shakti, albeit the gentle aspect of that goddess because she is a mother goddess. Parvati is considered as the supreme Divine Mother and all other goddesses are referred to as her incarnations or manifestations. Shaktas consider her as the ultimate Divine Shakti—the embodiment of the total energy in the universe.
Parvati is nominally the second consort of Shiva, the Hindu god of destruction and rejuvenation. However, she is not different from Satī, being the reincarnation of that former consort of Shiva. Parvati is the mother of the gods Ganesha and Skanda (Kartikeya). Some communities also believe her to be the sister of god Vishnu. She also is regarded the daughter of the Himalayas.
Parvati when depicted alongside Shiva appears with two arms, but when alone, she is shown having four arms, and astride a tiger or lion. Generally considered a benign goddess, Parvati also has fearful aspects like Durga, Kali, Chandi, and the Mahavidyas as well as benevolent forms like Mahagauri, Shailputri, and Lalita.

The legend of Manikaran tells how once traveling, the god Shiva and his wife Parvati found themselves in a green place surrounded by mountains on all sides. Delighted by the beauty of this place, they decided to stay and spend some time there. They are believed to have spent 1,100 years there.
Somehow Parvati lost her precious earring (mani) in one of the streams. Saddened by the loss, she asked Shiva to bring her back. Shiva ordered his servants to find the jewel; they couldn't do it, and he was extremely angry. He opened his third eye, a highly undesirable event that led to turmoil throughout the universe. Then they called on the snake god Shesha-naga to appease Shiva. Shesh-nag, with his hiss, caused boiling water to pour out of the bowels, bringing to the surface all the precious stones, including the one that Parvati had lost. Profit.
The water of this spring is believed to have healing powers. The temperature of the water is such that rice can be cooked in it.

My big green eyes, they can be mesmerizing sometimes
2. What makes your body and image unique?
My body is full jointed, what can give me great poses, is a pity that I can't hold the poses for too long. But I'm improving! I always look sweet, doesn't matters what I'm doing, thats my unique point.
