We concluded this car had to have been parked by a female, given the style in which it was done; a male would never have such style.

Six Flags Self Ticketing Area Custom Structure by Sun Ports

I created this several days ago and am just now getting around to processing it. Working my way home from the office I took the coastal route home and made a brief stop in Laguna Beach to see if I could create a few new photographs before actually calling it a day.

With a few new images in the bag I was working my way back to where I had parked and came across this underground parking structure. The blue SUV caught my attention so I slowed to a stop and gave the scene a quick look. I really like off the wall abstracts like this (the kind most others would never give any consideration) and turning it into something interesting to view or even study.

I like how the gate created separation and a sense of defiance. The blue SUV makes the overall scene POP. The softer focus on the most distant vehicle works well and plays right into the mystery of the deepening shadows front to rear.

Shot from the 9th floor of the Royal Hawaiian Center's parking structure towards the Pacific ocean on the south side of Oahu in Waikiki.

The curved tower on the left is part of the Sheraton Waikiki and the building on the right is the Waikiki Parc. The green lounge chairs and pool in the middle belong to the Waikiki Parc.

The cars are on the top floor of the Waikiki Sheraton's parking structure.

This ramp carries traffic from the eastbound Wellesley Ave directly to the top of the parking garage next to the Sears store (r.i.p. in 2019) at NorthTown Mall.

Always parked away from the bad parkers, always making our drive a walk, a climb up the stairs, an extra block or two.

I just liked how it looked. I was testing my new camera with the sepia setting.

Digital or Cell Phone camera tip - Remember where you parked by taking a picture.

It was interesting in this parking garage to see so many cars that had not been moved in ages. Many had years of dust and some had flat tires. It's a guess that since Venetians don't have use for cars in the city that they store them here for when they travel other places. Does anyone know for sure?
