Went out scouting Crestwood as a potential photoshoot location. Saw a dude coming up the ramp who had clearly gone down there to pee (i.e., he was buttoning up his trousers as he walked up, and he really hadn't been down there long enough for other activities that would result in a need to button up one's trousers) even though he could easily have used an actual bathroom inside Crestwood Court if his main goal had been draining his bladder, which implies that what he really wanted to do was pee in a semi-public area. Creepy.

The simple curve at the corner just intrigued me so much.

This is a shot of a multi-level parking structure, taken from the High Line (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Line_%28New_York_City%29) on the West Side of Manhattan, New York City, in April 2013.

Suspended over the precast concrete structure, a louvered shade screen veils the building from the street and creates privacy for the adjacent patient rooms. Made of over four thousand extruded aluminum fins, each blade is rotated at a distinct angle designed to reflect light inside the structure and create a gentle textured facade above the street.

Scanning a roll of the FPP Retrochrome 320 that I shot last month on our trip up N. I rated it at 400, because previous results were overexposed. I think 400 is the best result so far. It has a soft, grainy and warm look to it that is really quite nice. Retro is right.

**This was shot at night in an underground parking structure, with very poor lighting. The 2+ EV stop was already at 30'' exposure, so I was unable to obtain more definition on the left side of the car without bumping ISO.
