Student parking at Michigan State University at night. MSU has installed solar panels in 5 parking lots to create the largest solar installation in the State of Michigan (peak power 10.5 MW). Half moon is in the sky between the arrays.

Fortunately my little mini is fully capable of outsmarting an asshat who can't park. I've driven waaaay larger trucks than this stupid thing and i never had a problem parking properly. Just sayin.

Situated in a suitable, somewhat derelict surrounding and a maze of concrete walkways, Manors Car Park is a brutalist gem.

If I didn't know any better, I'd think that this looks like a Reserve Mining shot from about 40 years ago.
The ELS yard in Wells still holds onto five of the venerable SD9s, in various states of condition.
1223 still gets regular service in and around Escanaba.
1221 and 1222 look like they might be stored in serviceable condition.
1220 and 1224 have been robbed of many parts over the years.
The locomotive parking area at the Milpitas railyard. Guess they're all out being used.
Felt kind of eerie being totally empty that day. There are usually a few locos parked in here.
