Student docents led tours for Parent & Family Weekend

The Thread Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending child abuse. It was founded with a dual purpose in mind: 1) to provide comprehensive information regarding Houston child abuse prevention, intervention, and treatment resources; and 2) to reach out and encourage individual and community participation in ending child abuse. The organization assists the Houston, TX community in getting involved by providing a central website that includes easily accessible resources and links to several Houston child abuse services and family support services. The Thread Alliance also provides parenting classes that can assist in the care and treatment of abused children.
