As the Sparsh students walked into the New Year with all new hopes and promises, they came forward to meet the beloved founder and patron, Mrs. Sudha Gupta. They wished her a happy New Year with great fondness and also cut the celebratory cake with her. With the wish that the New Year turns out to be as special as these children, Mrs. Gupta showered her loving affection on them.

The Thread Alliance is a non-profit organization dedicated to ending child abuse. It was founded with a dual purpose in mind: 1) to provide comprehensive information regarding Houston child abuse prevention, intervention, and treatment resources; and 2) to reach out and encourage individual and community participation in ending child abuse. The organization assists the Houston, TX community in getting involved by providing a central website that includes easily accessible resources and links to several Houston child abuse services and family support services. The Thread Alliance also provides parenting classes that can assist in the care and treatment of abused children.
