So much variety from one plant!

The worker gathers water (mixed with bamboo) and peels off the top layer and adds it onto the "pile" ... It gets steamed afterwards.

You now have a piece of paper sandwiched between 2 pieces of flanel.

The piece was made entirely of the dyed noils. The had to be teased apart and laid down in layers.

My second experiment used a blue silk roving base with silk throwsters waste embellishment. I simply drew a few out and laid them on top.
