After 5 or 6 hours remove the weight and book.

 

Your paper should be fairly flat.

Hinge project. Using handmade paper and hinge techniques, create a large object/composition.

 

Self pigmented. Hand sewn. Handmade paper.

Here I have used the blue silk roving as the base and embellished with the brightly dyed silk noils.

The paper may blow around a little if there is a breeze, but the felt will make it hard for them to blow too far.

 

The paper and felt pieces will typically warp during the drying process.

 

Collect the pieces of paper and felt.

When the Deckle stops rising in the water, slowly raise the Deckle from the tub and let it drain on a jelly role pan.

Remove the sticker from the tare sheet before shredding it.

Place the paper sandwitched between flanel onto a cookie sheet.

 

You can now stack all the paper sandwiches you make onto this on top of this one.
