I made this for my bedroom. I wanted to do something with flowers and had been playing with the idea in my head. I have a few duvets that I love, embroidered silks - blue themed, green themed and mauve themed - and I wanted to carry that through on the walls.
So... when I get around to it I will frame them. I have pine frames, but I want to paint them... as always... it's a question of time... which is a precious commodity at the moment. I simply don't have enough of it to put the stuff that's going around and around in my head down on paper.
Anyway, these three will be positioned above the bed, hopefully going well with whatever duvet I have on that week. Either that or I'd be changing the picture every time I changed the bed clothes!
It's quite big: 9" x 9". I wanted to do one slightly bigger, but didn't have my A2 pad with me at the time.

* Materials used: black cardstock, marker, bookpage from 1920, clippings from a 1922 encyclopedia (Larousse) and original photo (found at a flea market).
* Gebruikte materialen: zwarte cardstock, fineliner, boekpagina uit 1920, knipsels uit een encyclopedie (Larousse) uit 1922 en een originele foto (gevonden op een rommelmarkt).
