ANOTHER VIEW OF THE TALLEST MOUNTAIN IN THE LOWER 48 STATES.

YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK

Minerva Terrace is the primary feature of the Mammoth Hot Springs Area. It goes through cycles of activity where there may be no water at all to such large travertine deposits that it covers the boardwalk. The park actually installed a moveable boardwalk just in case.

LOCATED ON THE EDGE OF THE PAINTED DESERT IN ARIZONA, THESE TREES LIVED 225 MILLION YEARS AGO.

YELLOWSTONE IS A TRULY UNIQUE AND AMAZING PLACE .

I saw her out the corner of my eye. I moved 5 ft. from the edge. I snapped off about 5 quick shots. She leaned back and pushed up after about 10 seconds. Definitely could have been steadier and sharper, but I hate heights.

Chinese Gardens at the Botanical Gardens are beautiful, full of colorful flowers, pavilions, ponds and waterfalls. Well worth a visit.

HOMELESS JESUS WAS CREATED BY CANADIAN TIMOTHY SCHMALZ (CIRCA 2013). TODAY THERE ARE WELL OVER ONE HUNDRED OF THESE SCULPTURES IN LOCATIONS WORLDWIDE. THE POPE HAS BLESSED MORE THAN ONE.

The legend of Dead Horse Point states that around the turn of the century the point was used as a corral for wild mustangs roaming the mesa top. Cowboys herded them across the narrow neck of land and onto the point. The neck was then fenced off with branches and brush. One time, for some unknown reason, horses were left corralled on the waterless point where they died of thirst within view of the Colorado River 2,000 feet below. A closer look at the canyon floor reveals the ghostly outline of the horses left behind.

Iguazu Falls span across both Argentina and Brazil. We visited Argentina side followed next day the Brazilian side. The water spray was quite intense requiring the cameras to be cleaned after every shot
