Babylonische Palmen
Farbige Dekoration nach dem Vorbild babylonischer Wandgestaltungen im Palast König Nebukadnezars II. von Babylon (604-562 v. Chr.)
Dekorative Ausstattung des am 1. Juli 1913 eröffneten U-Bahnhofs Klosterstraße, entworfen vom schwedischen Architekten Alfred Grenander.
Die historischen Wandfliesen (Majolika aus Cadinen) haben sich nur im Südeingang erhalten.

I thought it was funny... for a birdhouse to be attached so high, ON A TREE! I suppose it keeps them safe from predators, but just the fact of a birdhouse built on a tree-- the traditional bird house--tickled my funnybone.
Built as a trophy for the ABS Builder Challenge. Congrats Isaac! Best and nicest guy one could lose a building contest against. :D

Nothing cozier than walking around a crocodile area. It is forbidden to swim there, but not to pet the cocodrilos.
Few shot made during sundow from Lausanne city center with a 300mm contax mounted on a a7s. 270° point of view from Monriond hilltop on France lakeside accross lake Léman.
Hurried back to the sunset view grabbing quick photos on the way to the beach. Went to small aperture to get the sunburst effect but unfortunately didn't take time to get a wider shot for better placement of it. Another I decided to go more for the silhouetted look.
Evolving sunset at Po`ipu beach on the south shore of Kaua`i. Sorry for so many and some very similar photos, just saving another batch of memories to my album.
