Sorry, it's just a palm tree in my backyard.

This is about as good as it gets in January in Wisconsin in terms of palm trees. We're standing under a dome of glass. I want the real thing! And a fruity cocktail in my hand, listening to the waves crashing into the white sand beach.

This was the yard of the villa we lived in for 10 days. Just behind the palmtrees, in the dark, is the sea.

No photoshop involved.

No tripod, no polariser... so I tried to do a tonemap from one raw.

A two second exposure got me this odd bounce back of the local lights on this overcast night. The Blue Light is from a local bar's neon sign.
