Action at last! We have arrived at the confluence of the Mekong and the Nam Ou - an important river, along which much of Laos' rice is grown. The two rivers meet at Pak Ou (mouth of the river Ou).

Tetra Paks are now an incredibly common way of transporting/containing/supplying liquids. At my office we get all our milk in Tetra Paks.
Unfortunately they are not one of the items recyclable in Islington Council’s current scheme.
Tetra Paks are a mixed material – containing “paperboard” (about 70% of the weight), a few polyethylene plastic layers, and a layer of aluminium foil. All of these materials are individually recyclable but putting them into one package creates difficulty.
Conscious of this Tetra Pak offer various routes to recyclability.
