Staff member packing a box of nitrate negatives in polyethelene bag. Boxes are double wrapped in polyethelene bags to creat a vapor proof micro environment. Once wrapped, the negatives will be moved to frost free freezers for long term storage.

Documentation of us slowly and laboriously packing of all our stuff in boxes (minus the gazillion bags of things that have gone to Goodwill or the trash), followed by the professional movers' much more efficient loading of our things out of the condo and into an LA-bound truck! It's now oh-so-empty in here...
I took these pictures over the summer before vacation. I was originally planning on doing a whole story over vacation but ended up canceling the idea all together and just took normal non-Lego pictures instead.
After the clones were debriefed by Commander Cody they decided to pack, some smarter than others. (Notice the sad CABG flag attempt) The lighting isn't exactly what I would have hoped, and I should have used my macro lens, but I guess it came out alright.
Moving out as reading his library multiple times a day is simply not good enough. We always knew that he'd leave one day but never expected it to be so soon.
44/366 started packing for my hubby tonight. a much needed trip back to nyc to see his kids. i wish i could be going with him but timing-wise, it wasn't going to work out. i really miss the kids.

Packing of the items is done for a number of reasons which may include moving and/or preserving things just because they are not needed for the time being. In this scenario, there are a lot of options you can go for. You can store things in your home’s storage area or you can rent a storage unit. But packing things in the boxes and placing those boxes in the storage area without organizing things well is not something which you should be doing. One of the most important aspects to care about is picking the right boxes for #storage.
Having that said, there are a few things that you will need to take into consideration in order to ensure the selection of right boxes only.
Types of boxes
The type of box you choose is really something that matters. You have to go for the type which remains to be the sensible selection in your particular scenario.
When we talk about types of boxes, the one that comes first into the mind is cardboard. Cardboard boxes are cheap, lightweight, and easy to pack and label. They can be recycled if you don’t need those cheap moving boxes. However, there are some pitfalls of cardboard boxes. For instance, these boxes are susceptible damage due to moisture, health, humidity, and certain conditions. And these boxes offer no resistance to bugs. So, if you are using these boxes in the hostile conditions, you are asking for the damage not only for the boxes but also for the items kept in the boxes.
Plastic boxes belong to the category of boxes that you can consider safe in most of the circumstances. Plastic is naturally resistant to a lot of conditions which include heat, humidity, and moisture. Furthermore, you may not need any kind of packing tape and supplies in order to secure items in the boxes. So, if you need to store items for a long time, you can definitely pick these boxes. However, if you do not intend to store items for a long time, plastic boxes are the ones you need to go for because it is going to be an expensive choice. Furthermore, these boxes are not made to be recycled most of the times.
While dealing with the special items which you do not want to get damaged during a move or while being stored, you can go for the specialty #boxes. These boxes are ideal when you intend to store dishes, delicate artwork, and/or expensive #electronics. These boxes are more expensive as compared to cardboard boxes but they offer protection at a level you want.
