they were sent out a while ago, but I felt compelled to take a pic of how the Felfs were packaged. these tiny cubes arrived just in time.

I designed this package with the target market of 7 to 13 year old boys and girls in mind. I grew the crystals, photographed them, and color corrected and clipped them. I used fun fonts and lots of color so the package would "jump off the shelves". The product was well received by customers and consumers alike.
The Brief
To develop an identity for a luxury perfume brand which appeals to both Arabic and Western cultures.
The Response
We captured both influences of the brand by balancing Arabic elements with a classic high-end look and feel. The packaging materials help to deliver the message using a varnished Arabic pattern and foil blocked logo application. The Pour Homme and Eau De Parfum fragrance bottles help shape the brand by promoting continuity using a similar shapes and styles. The women’s bottle is given a more feminine feel with it’s softer edges, colouring and gold cap. The result is a product with a subtle Arabic feel that appeals to consumers in both markets.

We purchase materials from only the world's best producers, always to our more demanding appearance and performance specifications. The result is clear plastic packaging with better and more consistent clarity, virtually no visual defects, higher impact strength, and better scratch resistance. For a more sustainable alternative to traditional plastic boxes, our proprietary RPET is made with 30% post consumer recycled content and up to 30% of our PlantBox® bio-PET is derived from plant-based sources. Both our RPET and bio-PET substrates possess all same properties and characteristics as our standard box-grade PET, and our RPET and PlantBox plastic boxes offer the same the appearance, quality and performance as our renowned Klearfold® PET cartons.
To further ensure material quality, we produce much of our substrate needs in-house. Our custom extruders produce more demanding box-grade plastics exclusively, creating premium-quality substrates that are extremely uniform, crystal clear, and defect-free.

Roger Dario’s graduate project — “Standard Scientifical Industries” — is silly. With a product line that includes Hitler Assassination Kits, Folding Quarantine Chambers, and Deus Ex Machina in a box, it’s satiric and inspiring. It’s as inventive as it is nostalgic. Part Nickelodeon, part Adbusters, part 1950s propaganda, it’s a shining testament to Roger’s skills and voice as a designer.
