The Pace University Pleasantville Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony took place at the Ann and Alfred Goldstein Health, Fitness, and Recreation Center on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. The honorary degree recipients for the day were James McBride and David Avery Swope.

One of Pace’s most critical strategic initiatives is to increase the persistence, retention and, ultimately, graduation rates of our undergraduate students. We have been on an interesting journey of discovery over recent years and now have a much better appreciation of the complexities of supporting students to persist.
The University of Hawaii Venture Competition is hosted annually by the Pacific Asian Center for Entrepreneurship’s (PACE) in UH Mānoa’s Shidler College of Business to support budding entrepreneurs by providing hands-on education, mentorship and resources to students from the 10-campus UH System who wish to start a new business.

Gipsy Bocanegra, one of the participants at the International Agricultural Development course at Texas Tech University was requested by her lecturer to talk about YPARD to her students.
She not only spoke in length about YPARD but also took that opportunity to celebrate with them and share a delicious chocolate cake.
In 2016 YPARD is celebrating ten years since its official launch at the GFAR Triennial meeting in New Delhi, November 2006. It was born from the challenges facing young professionals in agricultural development and the need for a support structure.
This year is the occasion to celebrate YPARD’s 10 year achievements and reaffirm our focus on supporting youth in today’s fast-paced, changing environment. Follow the celebrations at www.ypard.net/10years
