The Sheriff putting on his boots. I guess he wanted no marks on his pants, so that must be why he sat on a towel. And, I took note of the towel to prevent heel scratches - in case platforms come back in to style.
...been putting off finishing these rigged mesh heels for months.. I am just too lazy to match skins
A happy wanderer-arounder seems content with Reading Buses 1212 at the BUSES Festival at Gaydon. Just putting the registration plate details into the Flickr search box - shows this bus wasn't new to Reading, but spent its formative years in Wales.

For a major house renovation. I'm keeping the sewing machine too. And it seems that I may not have a place to put the machine anymore. It makes me sad thinking about it.:(
We were ready to wrap up our group shoot when Nicole mentioned she wanted to shoot in her coat. It was about 100 degrees, we were tired, sweaty, and just plain exhausted but I can't pass up a chance to shoot with her. We had an absolute blast - and we lucked out with the lighting and also caught some cool reflections. My camera loves being around Nicole - we love her energy, looks, and personality. She is simply an awesome young lady!
While putting up decorations, we ran across some very old Christmas ornaments that belonged to my parents. My mom had identified them in writing that they were purchased in 1949. They have not been put out for many years because of their age.
This year, my brother made a special tree for displaying them.
We also bought a special box for storing them.
Three of the oldest ornaments were Disney Characters. They are rather simple - a shiny ball with a white area in which the character is painted. This is good old "Mickey."
Of course, being almost 70 years old, they are in pretty rough condition. Considering how very fragile they are, it is amazing that they survived this long. Three boys grew up in this household and were always allowed to decorate the tree!

Me thinks the next transition won't be like this. Photo from November 2016 that I never got round to putting on Flickr. Seems more relevant now! The Epoch Times was spotted at a Chinese Supermarket in Leicester.
"On November 10, 2016, President Barack Obama invited Donald Trump, then President-elect, to the White House.
No such invitation has been extended to President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.
The meeting between sitting presidents and vice presidents and their successors is a time-honored tradition that represents the peaceful transfer of power. But CNN's White House team has reported there are no plans for President Trump to invite Biden to the White House in the coming days. The Trump administration has refused to concede the election or recognize the results as legitimate.
That means Biden can't access additional funds for his transition team, and he hasn't been cleared to receive intelligence briefings, both touchstones of the formal transition process.
It was a different scene in 2016."

Mix together a ½ ton Pickup truck, Baja Racer, sportscar, and family car and you pretty much get the Ford F150 Raptor. I’m not sure who originally came up with the idea, but it has proven popular since its introduction in 2010. The second generation P552 Raptor shown here was introduced as a 2017 model. Gone was the previous V8 engine, replaced by a 450 PS version of the 3.5 GTDi EcoBoost V6 – a group of technologies including direct fuel injection and turbocharging, punching out 591 lb.ft (691 Nm) of torque.
Putting all this power to the ground is a 10-speed automatic transmission, dual-ratio electronic transfer case and AWD with locking front and rear axles. Ford has developed an advanced chassis control technology system that selects ratios, throttle maps, transfer case torque distribution and brake and stability program settings to maximise performance of a large number of different terrains, including tarmac. The goal – to be the fastest pickup truck over any and every track and surface.
As well as all the power and chassis drivetrain technologies, Ford added wider front and rear track, long travel suspension, FOX brand shock absorbers and larger 33 inch tires. Brand imaging for the original 2010 Raptor included a bright orange truck jumping in the air – no doubt accompanied by a bellowing V8 roar. Many YouTube videos show customers attempting to repeat the feat, sometimes heading home in an ambulance, and the car heading back on a flatbed truck. Although capable, driving any vehicle in this manner is not recommended for one’s long term health.
Many Raptor customers buy two cars, one, stock for the road, with a modified trailered 2nd car for offroad racing events such as the Baja series in the US south west.
This Lego miniland-scale 2017 Ford P552 F150 Raptor has been created for Flickr LUGNuts' 116th Build Challenge, - "Pickups and Vans", - a challenge to build pickups and vans.
I am not a golfer. But I accompanied my husband to the driving range tonight and while we were there I thought I would brush up on my miniature golf skills. Enter the putting green.
