Over the years we have seen photos being dated by the fact that men depicted were wearing straw boater hats. Today we get right to the heart of the matter with the factory, machine and man who made many of those hats in the "Wexford Hat Company". No doubt the techies among us will explain how the complex machinery worked?

Putting my sledom used scrapbooking materials to another use. I enjoy making simple cards; I feel it's a more personal touch. These are samples of what I will be making for Christmas this year.
Putting on a show, steam locomotive No. 43106 an Ivatt 4MT 2-6-0 Mogul, designed by the LMSR, but built by BR in the old LNER workshops at Darlington during 1951 and known as the 'Flying Pig' hauls a short rake of civil engineers wagons over Daniels Mill viaduct during a Matt Fielding Charter on the Severn Valley Railway.

hi all... thanks for your visits and comments... I would like to say that this photo was taken yesterday on August 10, 2010... I have the incorrect date settings on my camera... I will try and fix it before the day is out... ;-)
I hope you all have a safe and joyous holiday season.
This isn't my tree, this is the one where we held our Belles meeting. After taking this pic, my heel was hooked onto the red tree stand cover and I pulled it off of the tree as I walked back to my camera. I'm glad the cover was slit on the backside otherwise I would have spent most of my time putting the tree back up. [ Blond moment.]
I had planned on doing a Christmas shoot at home by my tree like I did last year with Fate. But, that wasn't to be.I had thought about taking some pics this weekend but my heart just wasn't in it.
I want to thank all the people who left a comment or sent me an email about Fate.
So many of you knew what I was going through and how I felt without me having to say anything.
It truly meant a lot to me and brought some comfort to me. Again, Thank you so much.
Perhaps I might take a few pics for New Years next weekend before I take my tree down.

Rail Operations Group Class 37 no. 37800 'Cassiopeia' is seen putting the hammer down away from Derby at Wilmorton, working 5Q59 the 10:18 Doncaster Works to Leicester L.I.P. 'Flex' unit drag, with ex-GWR Class 769 no. 769549 in tow.
They've graduated from sitting at Long Marston to being dragged around at least!
Once at the dumper, the power that led the train up from Paris cuts off in the clear on the main while the pushers, now the head end power, put the train away in 3 cuts in the stub end yard.
Next the 3 units led by the 5815 will grab two tracks worth of rock empties, pull on to the main leaving room for the 4 units to pull up and get into the clear in the yard and tie down for the night. The crew will taxi up tomorrow to grab the 4 units and take the coal empties back to Paris.
After the 4 units are put away the train with the rock empties will shove back downtown to the hand throw crossover and get back on the south track so they can regain home rails just east of the highway bridge that the previous pictures were made from.
Putting sexy pictures of yourself online is good...
But showing that this woman can also be a serious girl, it's even better...😇👌😇
