Having travelled through this station most days for the past few years, it's nice to see it in the small hours in such a peaceful state, rather than rammed to the gunnels with grumpy commuters like me ...
Southern Railways Merchant Navy class No. 35028 "Clan Line" makes an impressive sight through Putney, hauling the Belmond British Pullman. Acircular dining train beginning and finishing at London Victoria via Shalford.
About: Putney Bridge is a bridge crossing of the River Thames in west London, linking Putney on the south side with Fulham to the north.

Shortly after this the 85 went to London United, so it wouldn't have had blue buses for long.
Converted former ICL building, now a tower's worth of luxury flats. Amazing from this angle, I think.
I occasionally get to spend a night in London for work course's, so I took the opportunity to take my d3200 and learn some more
WVL26 (LG02KJE), Route 36, Paddington
These buses were fitted with smartblinds upon their refurbishment at AF, and since the loss of route 85 to London United, these WVLs have cascaded to other locations. This one has been fitted with smartblinds from the 11-reg WVLs at NX, with no rear blind.
Another trip to London today (30/06/2020) but this time minus any sunshine! Visits to Putney, Victoria, Liverpool Street and Tower Hamlets were made mainly in search of new 20-reg buses.

450093 is seen passing through Putney with the 1P30 0932 Portsmouth Harbour - London Waterloo which was being diverted off its normal route 24/4/22.
A up Reading - Waterloo formed of a pair of 458s duck under the District Line viaduct close to East Putney as a pair of 4-VEPs head in the opposite direction. Inbetween up and down 455s pass including one advertising Legoland.
Nicely illuminated at dusk.
Geotagging: Thamesfield is apparently the name of the council ward located where I was standing. It is a made up word. If you type Thamesfield into Google Maps it will direct you to a retirement home in Henley!
Sutton's D2706 is working a 93 over the Thames bridge in November 1990.
