Stopped in TC the other day when we were down there and bought a big rib eye steak at The Butcher's Block grand opening. A friend the day before dropped off a bag of morel mushrooms (she knew Dave and I weren't out walking in the woods this spring). This was just before I threw on the grill. Best steak we have had in years and the mushrooms made it all the better. Next year will be out for them again.

While watching the Dyna Pure wood chip carrier (build in 2006,

210 x 32m, DWT 54 kT) passing the locks, Boz Scaggs' song Dinah Flow entered my mind and after that, ofcourse, the suavely funky opening bars of Lowdown (the You Tube link is to a 2004 life version of the song). And thru the processing of this pic of the ship I got the feeling hat the engineering department of the ship’s builder must have had a certain ironic affinity with the early 20th century supramist painter & sculpturist Kadinsky.

This is number 11 of the IJmuiden album and 1185 of Minimalism & explicit graphism.

Uno de los lugares donde menos tímido es el otoño es en el Valle de Benasque. Un lugar este, el de las Gorgas de Alba, que parece sacado de un cuento. Os aseguro que ninguna foto le puede hacer justicia. En cuanto a la imagen, el encuadre quizás arriesgado dejando demasiado espacio en la parte de arriba, pero es donde estaba el ambiente, así que decidí dejarlo así. De todas formas, tengo tantas de esa mañana que alguna diferente ya publicaré más adelante. Ahora no quería dejar pasar el otoño sin tener en la colección una de esta colorida estación. I saw this man taking visitors for a fast ride on Lake Baikal at Listvyanka. Nostalgia isn't what it used to be, and Putin's Russia isn't the USSR.

I didn't make photos (and photo edit) for more than four months. Really.

I miss my dolls so much T^T

But recently I tried to do something with this old picture of Luan and I'm pretty happy ♥

I can't wait to practice more photography when I'll be back home !
