"I do believe Marsellus Wallace, my husband, your boss, told you to take ME out and do WHATEVER I WANTED. Now I wanna dance, I wanna win. I want that trophy, so dance good."

Great title. And "Dick Pearce"?

For a woman who's "half wildcat" she sure is acting coy on the cover. Must be the "half Indian" part of her.

Booze, munchies & movies.

And for me, no sleep :-)

“Pulp Fiction” was a piece of stencil graffiti by English artist Banksy, existing from 2002 to 2007 on a wall near the Old Street tube station in London. Many print instances of it exist. It depicts the characters played by Samuel L. Jackson and John Travolta in the 1994 film Pulp Fiction, with their guns replaced by bananas.

This is local artist Tom Whitty’s parody of the piece, in Rose St, Fitzroy.

I'm proud to work for a living. It builds character and, keeps the bills paid.

And here is the second major attraction at Burger Junkie:

Earlier this year I introduced you to the work of Launceston's premier contemporary visual artist, Josh Foley. [I'll put a link below.] When the restaurant was being opened, Josh Foley was commissioned to paint a mural of the chef's favourite scene from the movie "Pulp Fiction".

So here we see actor Samuel L. Jackson biting into a burger. If you know Quentin Tarantino's work I won't need to say any more. If you haven't heard of this cult film, then I'm quite sure you won't like it - it's that kind of movie. Jackson himself has seen photographs of the mural and is duly impressed.

But this mural is outstanding. It has all the hallmarks of colour and texture that you expect in Josh Foley's work. He has a truly unique style of creating the impression of thick colourful paint, but when you examine it it's as smooth as graffiti. His ability to paint in a photo-realistic style is complemented by wonderful abstract elements.

Tomorrow I'll show you another wonderful Josh Foley mural around town.

In the Christian world... it is believed that angels were created at the beginning, and that heaven was formed of them; and that the Devil or Satan was an angel of light, who, becoming rebellions, was cast down with his crew, and that this was the origin of hell.
