I attach some photographs from the event I held at the weekend to mark the 65th Anniversary of D-Day, which was an amazing success.

A further story will be on the local paper website shortly. We made the front page of the printed edition yesterday.
The event was attended by many veterans and also many young people, some even dressed up as evacuees. So much knowlegde was passed on. The Imperial War Museum sent representatives along to document the stories of some veterans.
We only raised about £300 to be split between the British Red Cross, British Legion Poppy Appeal and Help for a Hero, but the memories and friendships developed during the weekend are priceless.

Kaili swam at Kentridge Invitational Swim Meet this year for his first time. Kaili has diagnoses of Autism and CP. I don't think anyone there noticed he has such special needs. He's my MVP and proudly wears Kentridge sweatshirt.
We marched to the hillside where the warriors of Achacachi defended their right to self determination against the Bolivian military during Oct. 2003.
Leicester Freestyle Wrestling were proud to host "The Battle of Midlands 2023" Freestyle Wrestling Competition on Saturday 21st October 2023.
