Talk about puffing out your chest! Mom is coming out to search for more food. We're thinking that the first flight for the little ones will be a doozy.
There is a double play on words here as both the people and the ice berg are new. That they should both show up at the same time is not at all unusual as people love to watch icebergs to photograph them and to be photographed. I'm not sure what the flag means or who the people are but as soon as I get some details I'll surely fill it in right here. The picture was taken from North Head Trail, St. John's, NL, Canada.
Weetie seems quite proud of the shredded cat couch in the background. Sadly, they still have not completely destroyed this most uncomfortable piece of furniture.
Or maybe proud moma, the mate is in the nest just out of view. This one just flew up and is patiently waiting for the swop. Help with identification but that shoulder looks red? Nest in sycamore tree on the creek at the Nature Center.
