When women saw my camera they often wanted pictures taken of their children, particularly the babies. They were extraordinarily proud of their kids, in a way I don't think I've seen among American women. For many Indian women, especially outside of the more affluent and modernized areas, having children is the primary avenue for things like achievement, fulfilment, power, and respect in life.

It's a peculiar venue Proud in Camden. They have a photographic gallery, a bar in the building dedicated to old stables and now decorated with different themes and many music concerts. If you go to London, think about passing by there, it's very interesting!
Abri is always trying to get Isaiah to sit in the chair with her. It usually doesn't last long, but I can usually get a quick photo.
