Survivor came to mind when I spotted this nice old barn reflecting the late day sun. I am guessing it is ±100 years old, served the farm well, and is now still standing proudly surrounded by harvested fields and many more modern farm buildings on the horizon.

Excited to discover a nest and now chicks in a big Banksia just over the fence,
No rain .. no leaves .. lots of sand and very hot weather .. However, proudly standing on both feet, stretching both his hands waiting for the rain to come down, this plant gives us a great lesson.
Hope is the thing that make us live and endure all hardships.

I love the stance of this tiny Long-tailed Tit. I think it denotes a sense of importance and pride with gorgeous chest puffed out. Of course these thoughts are mine, and most probably, the little one was trying to get best position to monitor any threats.
