A shot of Ken Stringfellow (ex-Posies) and my friend Alex from the Jim Protector release concert at Garage the 25th of May.
Sadly a lot of my photos came out blurry. To my defence the lighting was... challenging. This one was taken at 85mm, ISO 1600, f1.4, 1/25s handheld, so i was running out of things to push up, and the alcohol probably didn't help either;) But next time I will check the display more closely and ZOOM IN, as the motion blur can be hard to spot on a small screen...
If you want to see more photos from the concert, please join the Jim Protector group and my other photos will be miracously visible in the pool.
First portrait attempt with my kids.
This shot was inspired by a shot I saw on Flickr www.flickr.com/photos/73484580@N00/288494077/ here. The idea is that the little brother is standing behind his big brother, his protector. My kids had a good time with it.
Strobist info: One continuous light camera left at 45 degree angle. Shot against black muslin background.
Used 50mm 1.8f (nifty fifty) lens shot wide open.

Beautifully decorated canons point towards the harbour as they always have at Castillo de San Marcos in St. Augustine. Once weapons of death and destruction, they now stand like guardians of a bygone era.

Scan of a negative. I have cloned out a few scratch marks in PS but otherwise left it untouched. Although I love grain in film I would like to develop one that is not so obviously grainy.
These kids were priceless. The girl was standing by herself looking at us from afar, and the boy came up and put his arm around her.
