Prospect Park Brooklyn Saturday morning cycling races (though this time on a Sunday). June 29, 2008.
Prospect Street is the main commercial street of La Jolla, lined with upscale shops and expensive cars. This place is definitely the playground of the rich.
He sat there for some time, but then suddenly took off towards GAP. He may have spotted his mate or another adult. I haven't seen him in this part of the park before.
Prospect Hill, Somerville, MA: I live on this hill. We missed the re-creation of the flag raising, but we did get a stellar once-a-year view of greater Boston.
Unusually large crowed showed up this morning for the first official event in NYC Parks since hurricane Sandy devastating blow to the city. Around 2000 runners, up to 5 times the usual amount, attended the 9AM 5K run around the Prospect Park in Park Slope, Brooklyn, organized by Prospect Park Alliance and the NYC Road Runners Club .
The unusual large crowd of runners is believe to be direct flow from the canceled NYC Marathon which was set to run trough five boroughs tomorrow.
The 9AM run was followed by 5K around the park walkathon which also had record number of walkers.
