Well I've finally gotten off my ass and got out to do some shooting lately! :-)
We had some great clouds/skies/sunsets over the last week so I decided to take a little hike along one of my favorite "hidden" locations. The Indian Point Trail runs along the coastline near Prospect which is about a 25 minute drive from my place in Halifax (the city). This is really great spot but hardly anyone knows where it is and I only usually see a few locals here out walking their dogs. It's a great spot for photos though; there is a nice rugged coastline, usually good waves and the sun sets over the ocean. That isn't always easy to find here on the east coast because the sun sets in the west of course. Prospect is on a peninsula and faces west so it's a good spot for sunsets.
So anyway I good a couple decent sunset shots but this isn't one of them:-) This was taken on my way back along the trail about 20 minutes after the sun had set (the start of the blue hour). It was actually getting quite dark but I like the sky looked and the way the late day light clung to the town and rocks below.
By the way, I will post one of the sunset shots next time :-)
Processing:
This is actually a Vertorama; it's like a panorama but the the images are stacked on top of each other instead of side by side. I wanted to capture the two big rocks in front and well as that whole fanned out cloud formation in one image but even with the 10mm I couldn't get it all in one frame. Paul Bruins vertorama technique to the rescue!! LoL

The only Duple 425 integral operated by Prospect of Lye is seen at their depot on 1st November, 2007. YIL 2760 had been new to Myalls of Bassingbourn as E907 EAY and came via TRS Coaches, Leicester.
Prospect is a Canadian coastal community on the Chebucto Peninsula in Nova Scotia's Halifax Regional Municipality.
It borders the Atlantic Ocean approximately 23 kilometers southwest of Halifax off the Prospect Bay Road.
