I've refined and polished one feet, does that count as making some progress?

played some on my sculpture today. As always... i take the photo of the work and then i play with the photo.... as mentioned before this helps me to see where the work is and where it wants to go.

Sculpture work in progress- photo play

Took little effort to get airborne... that was the easy bit. The wind did make it hard to make forward progress though. At high tide on Mudeford Spit.

start of a new exhibition piece. huge brooch.

I've been taking pictures of myself to see my weight loss & keep me motivated. Week 1 picture is very embarrassing & I stopped wearing clothes like this when I got to this weight.

For this gallery thing or something (?)

In 1986 a twin-car set consisting of trailer no 682 and motor car no 672 reverses in the centre road at North Pier. The conductor has just re-positioned the trolley pole.

This set is now part of Blackpool's heritage fleet and the cars have regained their original numbers - 272 and T2 - and original cream livery.

Kind of like Steampunk with an F1 front end.

Been a while since I have posted a picture of Flooppy Town... Lot's of stuff has happened. lol!

If your interesting in building in this town, just let me know. We are looking for people to build in the plots we have set out.

I'd been thinking about another trip to this part of Felixstowe for a while but had been waiting for tide, sunset and weather to all get along nicely together. The opportunity arose last night when it finally stopped raining so Parrish and I headed down there on a very last minute trip.

I spent most of my time trying to avoid getting the docks in the frame but as all the cloud had moved in that direction I finally gave up and composed a couple of shots to include the docks... they were my favourites of the night!

With a trailer in tow, Blackpool Transport Progress Twin Car set headed by car 874 loads passengers in the shadow of Blackpool Tower as a Marshall-bodied AEC Swift emerges from a side street. The Moderne building in the view was for many years a Woolworth’s store. It is now the Albert and The Lion, a Wetherspoon’s pub (which was beyond crowded when I tried to visit in more recent years).

‘Progress’ is the official motto of Blackpool.

Some of you may recall me posting a couple of shots this time last year of the Solido model of a bus with so much wrong with how it was finished? As bought second hand, it purported to be RT3224 in the livery of London Country, who never ran it, on a mixture of Green Line route 704 and Country route 406, neither of which it ever ran on. Well, here’s the model outshopped as RT3183, in correct LT Country Area finish, bearing blinds for route 409 which that vehicle could have run on since it was allocated to Godstone garage. There is indeed an RT in preservation outshopped like this. Still work to do - e.g. indicators - but at least it’s now more authentic. This (if it works) is a link to last January’s posting: flic.kr/p/2eiTui2

I may switch the colors around. It might be nicer with the purples at the top. Not sure yet!

All that's left is track belts and a couple more parts to fill gaps. Nearly done, and ready for an improved script.

New Year's Resolution No. #1 is to finish this quilt! My goal is to have it complete by March 1st~just in time to back it with a print from the re-release of FMF. See, there is a method to my madness.

New Shorncliffe Jetty progress

Inglewood Point. Lighthouse by Culprit. Anyone else still have a love for 'old fashioned' builds? I love mesh and sculpts had their time - but sometimes I just love the clean edges of a prim. This house might have some mesh to it - I'm not sure - but I love it's SL circa 2010 look :)

Pesterzsebet Iodine-Salt Thermal and Open-Air Bath during construction

Following my attempt to curl this doll's hair using a method called a "boil perm," the hair dried, the ends became a little frizzy, and the curls straightened out a bit.

Still, the final effect is pretty close to what I was hoping for. I'm trying to decide whether to give it another try to maybe tighten up the waves, or just leave it and call it good enough. Will the "do" do or do I re-do the "do?"

Also, I realized upon closer inspection that the eyeglasses I'm using for this figure are not quite right for what I'm trying to accomplish. Another set of teeny tiny dolly eyeglasses are on the way via eBay. What I find ridiculous is that one pair of doll eyeglasses that do not even have lenses costs more than a three-pack, a four-pack, or even a six-pack of basic full-size reading glasses like I wear myself.

The subject for this experiment is a circa 2007 Integrity Toys Nu Face "Pretty Calculated" Erin Salstrom doll.
