Els articulats 480 al 482 van ser assignats a línies regulars, fent esporàdicament el Reus-Salou i els serveis Tarragona-Port Aventura en horari nocturn. Aquests no van tenir cap reforma d'interiorisme a diferència dels assignats al servei de l'aeroport.
Los articulados 480-482 fueron asignados a líneas regulares, haciendo esporádicamente el Reus-Salou y los servicios nocturnos Tarragona-Port Aventura. Estas unidades no tuvieron ninguna reforma interior, a diferencia de los asignados al servicio del aeropuerto.
The articulated units 480-482 were assigned to regular services, operating sporadically the Reus-Salou route and the night services Tarragona-Port Aventura. The interiors of these units were not modified unlike the units assigned to Reus airport

Development began on the PR series in 1918 as a fleet escort fighter but prototypes demonstrated poor performance. The constructed hulls were left in storage until 1921, in which they were modernized and converted into a final biplane design with twin machine guns and a high-mounted engine. The result was an agile yet difficult-to-control flying boat.
