This portrait created under the influence of Pre-Raphaelite artists such as John Everett Millais and Dante Gabriel Rossetti presents the woman in contextually accurate clothing and manor. After completing this piece I will progress to explore how this Victorian art is still relevant and what it brings to contemporary art.

I have been meaning to put together my portfolio of work from the last 2 decades. Sense I have been here in South Africa, without any real work, I have finally had time, and a necessity to put it together.
The format I put together for the portfolio is for a 7x7 inch book. what you see here is two pages as if you had the book open (the right and left hand pages of the book). If you want to check out my online version of the portfolio you can here:

I already caught one typo and a sentence that for some reason got cut off. I'll be going back and making those types of edits as well as adding pages to several of these sections as I have much more work I've done over the years.

1. This photo was for a previous assignment. When I was taking this photo I liked how the colors went together the pattern of the leaf. There was no background distraction in this photo. 2. The separation of the background would be the color of the leafs and stems are dark brown and the wall was light tan. The differences in color just make it stand out. 3. This photo was taken inside when it was dark out so all I had to work with was the light in the room that was hard light this made it look dark and cool. 4. The light was a problem in this photo I didn't want to use the flash so I played with my camera but it was so long ago I don't remember what I did. 5. I did like this photo the way it stood out with dark and light colors.
1.for this photo i thought that the twins baseball sign would be dominate shape and size to capture. the lines in this photo would be the outside thats shaped like minnesota.
2. i thought that this sign of target feild would be a great choice of a photo because the texture of the structural enginering that it took to make that sign and i also thought that the sign represented the values of minnesota and their new baseball feild
3. i had nautral light as well as the lights from the stadium and the sign
4.i had fun shooting this photo because it was my first time at the new stadium and thought this was pretty sweet. it took several shots to get the right exposure and to get the whole frame in focus so it was a tad tricky
5. well for being the first time that i had seen this i though it was a capture the monent kinda thing and that i think tells a story on its own
