Coming Soon new portfolio

1. I took this picture of an old barn on hwy 3 on my way to Northfield. I shot it horizontally to better capture the whole barn in the shot. There are a lot of thick lines on the barn which draw your attention to it as the main subject.

2. The wood of the barn and the hay add texture to the photo.

3. It was early evening when I shot this so there was enough light from the sun to make this work.

4. I was on the other side of the highway when I shot his so I had to zoom out all the way to get an upclose shot like this.

5. This was a landscape shot.

Magic in your hands! View them as a business card, view them as portfolio, or use them to build your own sculptures. These are hand cut promotional cards for the "Ink" brand. One side features the original logo and contact info. The other side features one of 16 assorted works of art. As you hold each heavy and informative card, they function so precisely, sound so sturdy, and look so beautiful, you are certain that they are machine manufactured. No, with unbelievable attention to detail, they are individually hand-made. The quality, diversity, and functionality of this illustrative collection makes one feel that they are a pricey purchase from an art museum gift shop. Page 2 of this Flickr site contains photos of these artworks.

Let me introduce my new portfolio online.

Screen shots from my portfolio

This was my first experience of lino cutting and printing. I used clashing colours in order to bring the pattern forward.

Old portfolio images back when I shot this sort of material. My goal was to see how good I could become; I was happy with what I ultimately achieved. This image was shot with my first digital camera, the Canon Powershot G3. I had recently purchased a couple studio strobes and was just learning how to use them.
