Popped along here this morning for sunrise at last some colour for once even if it was just a little

Another gem from a small town! Pop’s “original” Kettle Korn! Sadly, Pop’s looks like perhaps it’s too pooped to pop any more popular popcorn for people! (Say that fast 10 times in a row!)
Finally got a chance to take a picture with my SL Dad! He adopted me into his family a couple years ago and I couldn't ask for a better Pops!
Asparagus fern (Asparagus sprengeri) have very unnoticeable small flowers and berries. The fully open flowers measure 1/8th of an inch across. The bud measures 1/16th of an inch. Here we get to see the tiny little flowers and buds. The bouquet measures 3/4 of an inch across by 3/4 inch high.
Native to Africa, asparagus fern also goes by these aliases: emerald fern, emerald feather, and lace fern. Dedicated macro lens. My back porch. No post processing. No crop.
Thank you for your lovely notes and emails while away. I am not able to spend much time on Flickr but had to pop in to say hello.
Unable to hold my big lens, Kipp helped me steady my tripod from inside the house to capture the first titmouse of the year. We still have snow on the ground but the trees have buds and the birds are returning. This weekend Kipp will take me to see the osprey and red winged black birds.
Hopefully I'll be able to hold my D700 without too much trouble in a couple of weeks.
