Decided to try some dark mood food photography. Ended up stitching several focuses so I could get the whole delicacy in focus. Did some grading and it ended up quite nice!
The American Red Squirrel is in abundance right now at my favorite place to photograph wildlife, they come right up to you almost begging to be photographed, and a treat is always their reward. They are a pleasure to photograph and fun to be around.
Sorry, I just couldn't resist the title. Was about to fill the watering can and noticed this mating pair of hoverflies sitting on top of the garden tap!
Always a pleasure to shoot on 35 mm, this is where I started and the craft was learned.

relaxing in the bubbles drinking a glass of red wine, guilty for all the work still to do, guilty for the waste of water, guilty for the extra calories I'm sipping with such a pleasure, I know, I'm a very bad girl ... cheers and HMM!!

Flowers are often like people, some are extroverts some introverts! Some stay closed, some open and when they do...
THIS is the result, they reveal the most private... gently dispersing the pollen attracting the bees and butterflies!
OOHH, yes, my flowers have their own language... listen carefully, with your eyes, hope you hear what I hear...? LOL

Schools of Dolphin swim and feed in a graceful and organized manner, a true pleasure to watch. But observing a group of Sea Lions is a drastically different experience. They are totally unorganized and chaotic. Each animal is 'doing his own thing'

- During this time of Covid-19 - simple pleasures have become more dear to me. I take more notice these days of the beauty around me therefore not in my "busy for life' mode. Often much like "The Mad Hatter"!!!!!!
Hope today you too enjoy the simple pleasures in your life. 😀
I also hope you are all keeping well and I hold you in prayer.
Thanks you for you visits and kind comments.
Blessings,
~ Barb

**okay, I'm having a problem with those big monster group icons again.
I don't much like them. they can be made smaller and less obtrusive.
I love comments. and I love invites to groups, and I try to comment back to commenters and to groups.
but........after I comment I may delete the big icons.
sorry.
Pleasure pier in Galveston at sunrise. I answered the 4 AM wake up call to head down to Galveston to try for some sunrise shots over by the Pleasure Pier. I got down there and set up, and the clouds continued to build. Just as I was about to pack up and figure out a plan B, the sun poked through the clouds briefly for a few minutes.
