This is a beautiful interior glass door at the rear of Café Majestic (1922), an historic café, located at Rua de Santa Catarina, in Porto, Portugal. The backlit door leads out to a pretty, sunlit patio.
The building is from the Art Nouveau period, reminiscent of Parisian cafés at the time.

Small flycatcher always found near water such as lakes, ponds, and marshes where it perches conspicuously. Males are quite unique in being black with a white head, while females are grayish-brown above and pale below with a white forehead and throat. Mostly silent. (eBird)

Third time the charm! We finally got (somewhat) closer to this pretty flycatcher. I had to use Topaz enlarger to make this image big enough to see and even now the bird is tiny. The in-focus bird is the male, while the out-of-focus bird on the fence rail is the female.

About this Photo: Taken in the Euclid Creek Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks. This wonderful stone bridge is a real eye catcher in any season.

Personal Note: I must admit I am disappointed how Explore seems to be working. My issue is this. I have photos that are seen in Explore in the evening and they are nowhere to be found in the morning. Worst of all, Scout does not detect the image sat in Explore for several hours. Many are positioned in the 100 to 250 range. This has happened the past two days. I know what you are thinking. "That's Explore, don't take it personally, and Explore is not a judge of photographic quality." It still bugs me. And I have seen the same thing with many of YOUR great photos that show up in explore and are nowhere to be found in the final 500. Any comments or insights? Thank you for listening to this little Thursday morning rant.

I've already donated to several campaigns for justice and for the BLM movement. I'm going to vote today. I'm going to see what else my community needs from me while I'm outside.
With that being said.. Do anything you can and feel comfortable doing at this time. We are all dealing with personal trauma inside our own minds, hearts, and homes. I'm not condemning anyone for not being able to mentally or even physically handle what's going on. Don't be embarrassed or scared if all you can do is share a post.
