Yashka met a dog of the same age as he is (18 months) in the park. And they had a lot of fun playing together.

This photograph is part of an experiment to see if I could photograph off a computer screen a play that was broadcast from Greece concerning the the "Persian War", by Aeschylus . For the most part the experiment was successful.

Another image from the Christmas break. It’s a lovely time of day, when the Sun sinks into a calm sea and exposures let us play with time and motion. Doesn’t always work but sometimes interesting interpretations can be created.

I found a cool arcade gameing hall. These places are getting rare now most people sit at home playing on their personal computer.

Cat Kitten Chair Toy Animal Pet

A favourite game. Bella goes under her scratching arch & defends it from as many toys as possible. When she’s concentrating instead of being distracted by me taking photos, I rarely manage to get any toy under the arch as she catches them so quickly & hits them away for me to catch then throw again.

Street photography from Glasgow, Scotland.

Captured in September 2020. Today Glasgow remains in level 3 lockdown restrictions with a high level of the B1.617.2 variant of coronavirus dominant in the area. Although I have had both vaccine doses the advice is to avoid travel to and from Glasgow unless absolutely necessary. It will be a while yet before I consider it safe enough for street photography to resume for me. Stay safe everyone!

It couldn't decide Friday night whether it was going to rain or not, but the play of light and clouds driving along Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park (our "backyard playground") was pretty incredible.

Have a great week!!!

And she embraced the chaos as it painted her life with purpose.

Open up your mind and let me step inside

Rest your weary head and let your heart decide

It’s so easy when you know the rules

It’s so easy all you have to do

Is fall in love.

Did you forget I'm real?

Oh, I'm breathing, touch me, feel

Oh, say I'm your toy to play with, wanna put me in a box

not the best quality but I still like it, taken from a long distance ... they were playing, chasing, leaping and boxing. had a great time observing them.

I was at Big Sur this weekend in the California coast. The State park nearby has a tunnel access to a beautiful water fall. Trying some light painting with LED.

This the original version of an image I posted yesterday, they really were playing and it always looks, and sounds, a lot worse than it is.

"I can play...

I can play hard

Catch me at the bar

You're fuckin' with a star

'Cause I can play hard

Hard...

I can play hard

Whiskey and cigars

You're watchin' from afar

How I can play hard

I can play... (Hard)

I can play... (Hard)

Burning holes in the back of my head

Hanging on to every word that I said

Got your heart in the palm of my hand

(In the palm of my hand)

I can play hard

Catch me at the bar

You're fuckin' with a star

'Cause I can play hard

Hard...

I can play hard

Whiskey and cigars

You're watchin' from afar

How I can play hard

I'm in the...

I'm in the spotlight

On your knees, got you holding your breath

Demons out, but you're better off dead

Bottled up, get it off my chest

(Get it off my chest)

I can play hard

Catch me at the bar

You're fuckin' with a star

'Cause I can play hard

Hard...

I can play hard

Whiskey and cigars

You're watchin' from afar

How I can play hard

I can play..."

This Tawny Owl was playing peekaboo with me from behind the tree it was hiding behind. I don't often find them out in the daytime so it's always a treat to come across one. This one has rather rufous plumage, though some are rather grey like this: www.flickr.com/photos/timmelling/49970734671/in/photolist In the earliest British bird books they were thought to be different species. Some books still refer to them as rufous and grey phase Tawny Owls but this is wrong as a phase is a transitional plumage, and Tawny Owls are rufous or grey throughout their life. So rufous or grey morph would be a better way to describe them. The same is true for pale and dark morph Arctic Skuas, they are not phases.
