the bow, arrow, knife, and cap are all traditional Tayal (Taiwan aborigine) work.
The bow is spiya wood; I don't know the Chinese or English name of the tree.
The klisu (barbed arrow) is 箭竹/arrow bamboo (a type of straight, slender bamboo), with a barbed point. The knife, or laraw, was originally used for everything from clearing brush to headhunting. It's a great tool for the jungle, even for those fussy souls like myself who do not hunt heads (it's illegal now).
The cap is rattan.

It is the window to the soul. A way to connect and enjoy.

'Abandoned Play'
Quite an apt title as the park is currently being torn down to make way for a new play area development. One week later and I’d have not got the shot.
However, at the time the freezing fog laid silence across the frozen play area, giving an eerie feeling to the still swings and the deep fog surrounding the field

210 of 365. Didn't win anything. Two of my daughters and I play bingo regularly....about once every two years!
I watched these two having a great time playing catch in the morning on the boardwalk at Wildwood Crest, NJ.
